Greetings, Good Morning and Happy New Year fellow PPC and PPG pilots.

Yes this is NEW! The LPPF Field Coordinators have created this new gmail account to better serve this group. We know that not everyone is on the Facebook.

Your email address here was taken from your LPPF Flight Waiver or Hold Harmless forms that you filled out back when you were given a LPPF Safety and Rules orientation. Remember that? Yes some of your Waivers date back to the beginning of LPPF use in 2017.

Let's talk about that legacy. Yes the field has been ours to use since 2017. We have a unique arrangement with the City of Lincoln / KLHM. To my knowledge we are one of only a few Part 103 groups with onsite activities that are actually spelled out in the Aeronautical Chart "PWRD PRCHT ACT SW QUAD OF ARPT". Now sometimes you see a small GA plane make a pass directly over our LZ and wonder... Well we have had some of our pilots unaware or forgotten some of our rules and GA might be asking the same about us. More on that in a future email.

We do at times have a need to reach all our members and interested parties. For various reasons we might have the need to reach everyone with important updates.

So the main purpose of this 1st Lincoln LPPFGroup email is to determine who wants to remain on this mailing list of approx 150 signers. First and foremost, All are welcome. You do not have to be an active pilot. We would like to get a better idea of who is active but we will keep all interested parties updated.

Maybe you trained here but aren't from here . Maybe you were part of the Sod Farm Flyers and transitioned over to the Lincoln group. Maybe you have attended fly-ins at Lincoln LPPF in the past but aren't a regular LPPF flyer. Again all are welcome and we want to keep everyone including those with long LPPF lapses up to date with our activities and rules and protocols as they change over time.

This will be our first step to determining who, what, when and so on.

Some of the Field Coordinators are working towards an online portal for all that want to continue flying at LPPF. That pending portal will be a place to review and test your knowledge of LPPF rules and flying procedures.

Your review of the rules will come with an online waiver signing to re-up. We are thinking of requiring a re-up of the waiver as a BFR, Biennial Field Review. Every two years so we don't forget important stuff. We want to keep everyone up to date, safe and all appropriate considerations given to what is needed to keep this situation intact. We will have more about the online portal as it develops.

Please reply to this email whether you want future emails or not. If you reply "thank you but not interested" we will go ahead and remove you from the group contacts. If you are interested please reply that you want to be included and we'll keep you on the mailing list.

Thank you,

LPPF Field Coordinators
